REBELLION · Book 2
Weapons Of War
In the year 2280, an alien fleet stole our Earth.
For fifty years they hunted us.For fifty years they enslaved us. For fifty years we lived in fear.
Nothing lasts forever.
They can try to quell us.They can try to break us. They can chase us to the ends of the Earth. They can chase us to the ends of the Universe.
We’ve won our first battle. We’ve earned our first taste of hope. What was theirs will soon be ours.
We are the rebellion. Our story continues…

Im having a problem with the time line. If Gabriel's mother was taken 50 years prior how old is Gabriel supposed to be - I would guess near 60. He is portrayed as being much younger in the book: his rank was only captain, his father refers to him as that's my boy and he has quick reflexes being a fighter pilot. AM I missing something?
Hi Bob,
Thanks for asking. Yes, you did miss something :)
Gabriel was born from a surrogate using one of his mother's frozen eggs, years after the ship left Earth. That's why the Old Gator is so old, and Gabriel is so young.
Here's one of the references to it from the book:
Children had been and still were a priority, though there was less desperation now than there was thirty years ago. Not all of the eggs that had been carried off Earth with the fleeing colony ship had ever been fertilized and implanted into a surrogate. Gabriel had been lucky because of who his father was, and even then he had been left to wait his turn. Theodore St. Martin hadn't wanted a son until he was older so that he could stretch his family's involvement in the resistance for as long as it took.
I hope that helps clear things up. Thanks for reading!
Cheers,
Michael.
Loved listening to the first book, can't wait for book two to land on Audible!
Thanks, Greg. I'm glad you liked it. Weapons of War is coming to Audible in November.
